Send in the sniffing dogs first
by Realist (not verified) on Wed Jul 02, 2008 12:02 AM PDTThat is what the Jordanian monarch is. Just a sniffing dog to chart unknown territory and observe Iranian response.
I have heard from those older than me that his father actually pimped for the late Shah of Iran.
So the sons job is not much different, but just in another area.
As you know, Jordan is a curious case. They are
by Rosie T. on Tue Jul 01, 2008 12:47 PM PDTbasically a satellite of the US but the US is AMBIVALENT about MKO while Jordan is taking a clearer stand. It may be a HORRIBLE stand but at least it's a somewhat independent stand.
Or at least that's how I understand it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If they had balls...
by Realist (not verified) on Tue Jul 01, 2008 06:49 AM PDT"12 Jordanian lawmakers on Sunday attended a rally in Paris calling on the European Union and the United States to remove the MKO, the largest armed Iranian group, from terrorism blacklists."
If the Jordanian government members had balls, then they would arrange and participate in such a rally in their own country.
