Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has suggested that Tehran will not launch any attack on Israel. Speaking in Malaysia, he said "there is no need for any measures by the Iranian people" to bring about the end of the "Zionist regime" in Israel. Mr Ahmadinejad was speaking after he was asked to clarify the statement that he wanted to "destroy" Israel.

Sometimes, you just want to give up.

Iran fired nine missiles today and announced that one can hit Israel.  So much for, we want to talk ....again  and again and again.

This is the exact game that Saddam played.  The French assured Saddam that Bush wouldn't attack Iraq.  Saddam enjoyed firing his missiles at the US and British jets patrolling the no fly zones, didn't he?

The Patriot Defensive System in Israel is being adjusted for short range attacks now too. Iran announced that their proxies in Hezbolla and Hamaz will be ordered to fight Israel in the near future.   I'd say Israel will be ready now that Iran has announced that they have missiles that can destroy Iran.  Perhaps, it would be better to  not announce your attack in advance. Your enemy might decided to act before you act.

If Iran was a peaceful nation, why do they make the "Death to ...fill in the blank" statements and tell the world that they have a missile ready to hit Israel?  Do peaceful nations do that?  I guess the "we are sending satellites into space" ploy  failed last time.  The Europeans immediately discounted those claims and everyone had a good laugh at Iran's regime for making those claims.  At least, they are honest about their intentions with the latest missile firings.

I think Iranians...are a people of peace...Their leaders are warmongers not unlike the Bush family.  Iranians will end up suffering for the actions of their leaders as we have when out embassies are hit and out cities are attacked by ME people.

There is no end to this madness.  no end.............................

It looks my favorite clowns in Tehran are running a bit scared. Now one can understand why the Mullahs walk around with chadors and not tight trousers.

Next few months should be very inserting to watch.
