by Hajminator on Mon Jul 14, 2008 01:29 PM PDTThat's effectively strange, two guessworks 1) Assad knows that actually Israel and US don't have the possibility to attack - no surprising effect and passdarns on the watch to respond - If Iran is getting attacked the region will become instable 2) If the regime on Iran changes, Syrian turn won't be long. In both cases Assad is trying to preserve his country stability
A third possibility which comes to my mind: Assad loves Mahmood and can't tolerate anyone harms him!
