by Kaveh Nouraee on Wed Sep 17, 2008 09:37 AM PDTThis has nothing to do whether or not you like the music of Pink Floyd. No one says you have to like them.
The issue is with your classless, tasteless statement where you refer to him a stoner.
The man died of cancer, you jerk.
You ever see what cancer does to someone? Have you?
You're an insensitive ass. I don't know you personally, but that's my opinion.

by A B (not verified) on Wed Sep 17, 2008 09:01 AM PDTAlso, to put things in perspective, these individuals, to me, have more talent in their pinkys than the keyboardist from Pink Floyd: Bon Scott, AC/DC, Brad Nowell, Sublime, Curt Kobain, Nirvana, Jim Morrison, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Kozmic Blues Band, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Robert Palmer, George Harrison, Faruk Balsara(Freddie Mercury), Marc Bolan, all the members of the Ramones, etc, etc, etc, etc.

by A B (not verified) on Wed Sep 17, 2008 08:08 AM PDTPlease, stop the crying. What else do you do when you listen to Pink Floyd? They were boring. I have nothing against them personally, it's just my opinion.

What I'd Like To Know
by Kaveh Nouraee on Tue Sep 16, 2008 03:28 PM PDTis why such a comment hasn't been deleted. I already flagged it as offensive yet it remains.
Attacking the character of a man who died like this is lower than low. And having the comment remain here is worse.

What have you got against him. Did he defile your mother or something? Trust some soul less idiot like you to call such a great man who has done so much for music a "stoner". Even if he like so many 60s artists did experiment with drugs in his youth, so what? I tell you my dear sqeaky clean right wing fellah, atain something like what he did in life then give yourself the right to bad mouth him. so naff off!

Stunned
by Kaveh Nouraee on Tue Sep 16, 2008 09:19 AM PDTThis is just too shocking for words.
Ebi...thanks for posting the video. I don't know if you saw where at one point towards the end Richard Wright is briefly shown at the piano in a silhouette. It's very haunting.
I thought this video might also be appropriate. It's the final track on what is most likely the final Pink Floyd studio album. It comes with the lyrics so you'll know what I mean.
