در 26 آبان ماه خبرگزاری مهر خبر از تخریب سقف آرامگاه کوروش در جریان مرمت این بنا داد. مسئولان سازمان میراث فرهنگی و مدیر بنیاد پژوهشی پارسه در حالی این خبر را تکذیب کردند که مستندات موجود تصویری خود روایت صادقی است تا افکار عمومی در خصوص مرمت یا تخریب بودن اینگونه رفتار با میراث فرهنگی کشور به قضاوت بنشینند.     >>>

This is such a stupid propaganda, I was there two weeks ago, when did this happen?
This is under the watch of the international organizations, and if it has happen they all have to pay since they all approved the way it was suppose to be fixed. But I still think this is a propaganda. The pictures just show work and nothing of the claim

Don't touch it!

For almost 2500 years the tomb was there with no problems what so ever, all of a sudden it needs to be fixed! how about just don't touch it. what's next, restoring Takht jamshid?

what is really distubring though is the extend of BEE-FARHANGI that we Iranian people are suffering from. I only wish we could remove his tomb, move it to Europe and U.S and preserve it in some museum for future generaton to see.

When the Taliban went and destroyed the magnificent Bamiyan Budhas, I knew that the spirits of budhism (a non violent religion) and those that built them will repay the taliban in some way, and it happenend. I hope this is not a repeat of that mistake because not only the spirit but the iranian people will repay this facists for what they deserve.

They've been trying to detroy Kourosh's tomb for a long time now, they keep attacking it in different ways...
