A major puzzle surrounds the real motivation of the Islamic Republic’s involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. While unacceptable excuses such as geography, history and religion (Shiea), are often suggested for IRI’s meddling in Iraq or in Lebanon, but there is no conceivable way that anyone could justify their sticking their nose into the inter-Palestinian factional disputes or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
