Iran's police seizes 1,000 kg drugs and detains 14 smugglers

Iran's Police seized about 1,000 kg of drugs and detained 14 smugglers in the last three days, the official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday. In an announcement released by the Information and Media Communication Center of Iran's Police on Saturday, the police forces, in a number of operations in different parts of the country, "seized 918 kg of drugs...and detained 14 smugglers." In November, Iran's Drug Control Headquarters (DCH) announced that Iran would seal all the borders of the country within two years to control drugs smuggling.
