Israel soldier calls order during Gaza assault 'murder'

One of my soldiers came to me and asked, "Why?" I said, "What isn't clear? We don't want to kill innocent civilians." He goes, "Yeah? Anyone who's in there is a terrorist, that's a known fact." I said, "Do you think the people there will run away? No one will run away." He says, "That's clear," and then his buddies join in, "We need to murder any person who's in there. Yeah, any person who's in Gaza is a terrorist," and all the other things that they stuff our heads with, in the media.

Gee, the same quote could have come right out of any Muslim cleric in.................IRI, or Christian one among the EU forces as well. Wouldn't you agree.

Religious nuts are nuts. That is a fact in any religion. Jews have their superstars too.

A soldier, identified by the pseudonym Ram, is quoted as saying that in
Gaza, “the rabbinate brought in a lot of booklets and articles and
their message was very clear: We are the Jewish people, we came to this
land by a miracle, God brought us back to this land and now we need to
fight to expel the non-Jews who are interfering with our conquest of
this holy land. This was the main message, and the whole sense many
soldiers had in this operation was of a religious war.”

And they are calling Muslims fanatic and religious nutcases. Deeg be deeg mige rut siah. I suppose that is the meaning of the [Only Democracy in the ME] my foot.

Prior to 1987 all these walls and barbwires in WB did not exist. All these restrictions had  begun after Arafat begun with his homicide bombing of Israeli buses and restaurants in Israel.

Also, if you bother to read the Hamas's own covenet.

They describe for you their true agenda and plan for the Jews. Replace the Pals on the right side of that despicable comparison with Israelis.

The  irony is, the rest of the civilized world, knows all too well that if Israelis let their arms down, they will face the exact repeat of the Holocaust.

No Israeli will wait until it will happen so their survivors will tell you "we told you so".

Hamas's role

by Mehdi Mazloom on

What do you expect, when Hamas orders it fighters to change their clothes into civilians and mingle among woman and children.

The solder may have thought that these "fathers" walking their children pass the IDF solder, His commander may have been more informed about the real identity of that father, as Hamas fighter masquerading as innocent civilian, to save his butt from getting killed.

Once again, war is brutal and when you fight in tight urban area, innocent civilian do become casualties.

Once Hamas stops its senseless rockets onto Israel, and return Gilad Shalit back to his family, one can be assured, there will be peace in the region.

Bother sides are agressor and victims at the same time
