 To answer your question. I don't think he should have been nominated to nothing near foreign ministry. While he is very patriotic (like the rest of us), diplomacy is not his forte. It was a very stupid comment (not honoring the the Annapolis agreement) for him say.

Frankly, the sooner he is replaced with a career diplomat, the  better for Israel. The biggest challenge for any Israeli foreign Minister, is that, they are all measured against  the late Abba Eban, and that is a very very tough act to follow.

My good man, I have lived in all 3 (Iran, US & Israel) counrries which you had mentioned. I pretty much speak the languages of all three, well versed with their respective languages and  cultural.

In India we were somehow lucky to have the British come otherwise we would have major problems. Many good thing came out of it. Perhaps if the Palestinians think the same way, they could benefit greatly from the occupations. At some point, when they are more powerful they can retake what belongs to them.

I don't blame Israel being nervous, if peace with Iran goes through these guys have no reason to ask for more money and weapons. Then what would happen to them? Iran and the United States share a huge amount of similarities in cultures and values that other nations lack. This similarities are not based on military or trade, but its beyond that. It is cultural. Iranians generally are very similar to the US people. I notice that every time that I visit there. Maybe it's because we also were international and have many nationalities, just like the United States.
