Iran has haunted every U.S. administration since the days of President Jimmy Carter. While running for president, Barack Obama proposed opening talks with Tehran and trying to end the long Cold War between the United States and Iran. Obama's sensible idea was greeted with the deepest dismay by ardent supporters of Israel and Rambo Republicans who want to see the US go to war with Iran, a nation of 70 million, and destroy its nuclear infrastructure

by smhb on Thu Apr 16, 2009 07:54 PM PDTYou do have a valid point. When you read the article it becomes apparant that Eric Margolis is not advocating an attack on Iran. Far from it, he opposes such criminal act.
My bilakh was a gesture to those fellow Iranians and non Iranians who actually do advocate a foreign invasion of Iran and I used the title to get that point that across.
Mehrnaz,
As usual my pleasure :))
Brilliant article smhb, thank you indeed!
by MEHRNAZ SHAHABI on Wed Apr 15, 2009 06:43 PM PDTHorse feathers, perhaps you can enlighten us about Eric Margolis' "deep lack of factual knowledge"! Could you read the article?
Just Wondering
by Kaveh Nouraee on Wed Apr 15, 2009 04:36 PM PDTIf anyone actually READ the article?

Bunch of speculations showing deep lack of factual knowledge
by Horse feathers (not verified) on Wed Apr 15, 2009 06:37 AM PDTSeems like nobody knows what the hell they are talking about. They do not even know what to believe.
A whole lof of suppositions, speculations, perceptions and beliefs all void of reality and truthfulness.
Count on my "BILAAKH" as well
by Majid on Tue Apr 14, 2009 04:49 PM PDTPlease add my "BILAAKH" too, I'm sure we'll have enough of those Bilaakhs if needed.

Why the rude title?
by Asghar Afshar (not verified) on Tue Apr 14, 2009 01:31 PM PDTWhy can't you just post your news item and spend a few minutes to come up with a more appropriate title?
