Star Trek boldly goes where no film has gone before. ...

Hollywood loves remakes or re-versions or reboots or, God forbid, re-imaginings. Whatever you want to call this new trend, a slate of them are in the pipeline including Footloose, Robocop and Total Recall. Star Trek is a decent film that does exactly what it says on the tin. It's big, flashy and action packed with impressive special effects. Kids will enjoy it and the snappy dialogue provides enough laughs for mum and dad.

I think you should give the next generation a chance! Capt'n Picard and DATA were two of my all time favorite TV characters.

I'll await your review of the movie. Live long and prosper my friend ;-)

Beam Me Up Scotty ... ;0)

The New Crew looks so much like the old team. I loved McCoy and Scotty too.

Irandokht  jaan, I actually loved Kirk as a counterpoint to Spock. I loved the way their opposite characters competed.

But I never got into the Next Generation and other sequels of Star Trek. Most of the Movie adaptations were uninspiring compared to the series.

But this one looks really faithful and exciting for a change.

Make sure to carry your Phasers before being beamed up to the Theater close to you ;0)

Cheers my Friends,

looking forward to seeing it!

I have a feeling that the remake of Star Trek (Pishtazan-e Faza) will be better than the original. I didn't like Captn Kirk much. He was too heez and too much a drama queen. No young actor will be that bad! ;-)

I liked Mr Spock back then and I like the actor who plays him now too. I can't wait to see it on the big screen.
