by Mehdi Mazloom on Wed May 13, 2009 05:28 PM PDTOn my previous post, I tried to pour some positive spin on the Israeli-Iraninan relationship. Calling for peace and dialog. And what an Israeli bi-gonnah ve-Mazloom like me, gets in return from smbh. rubbish.
In essence, what you are asserting is:
Since many of us Israeli bashers- ayself in particular, have nothing positive to contribute, nor have the intellectual capacity and knowledge to advace tolerance and understanding between Jews and Muslims in general, and Israel & Iran in partiicular, I suggest we totally ignore and boycott known zionist dogs (oooops did I just insult a dog) on this site. Thats all. They know very well what
will happen to them.
Thanks for letting em know.
Zionist dogs
by smhb on Wed May 13, 2009 01:49 PM PDTI suggest we totally ignore and boycott known zionist dogs (oooops did I just insult a dog) on this site. Thats all. They know very well what will happen to them.
As the old saying goes and we all know what that saying is and these dogs will experience it once their moronic criminal leaders decide to make the ultimate mistake.
Here is my take on this.
by Mehdi Mazloom on Wed May 13, 2009 12:01 PM PDTWhile many of you bellicose on what Israel would, or would not do. Or what Iran would do (or not do). Here is how I see things between Israel and Iran, or between Jews and Shi'ite Farsis.
1. Both are tiny minorities, compared to Sunni Arabs in the region.
2. Both have a proven and long history and heritage.
3. Both have demonstrated their intellectual capabilities, and accomplishment in the region.
4. Until the Mullahs came on scene, neither groups has ever threatened the other one.
5. Both groups have the same enemies (really if you look at it, Sunnis hate the Jews, and the Shi'ite - moreover the Farsis.
Now imagine that these two groups Jews and Farsis would cooperate with each other on all facets of life. economic, diplomatic, etc. How much it would bolster the direct interest of Israel & Iran.
Whether some of you pundit can stomach it, or not. Israel IS a superpower in the ME, and has lot to offer to Iran. Not only militarily, but economically and industrial development.
Israel has world class expertise in areas of agricultural, Medical research, electronics industrial and urban development.
Iran has advanced medicine, and god knows what else. At the same time, Iran needs knowhow to solve its economic and low yield agricultural sector.
Imagine that, Israel and Iran would cooperate on all level of economical, industrial, and diplomatic level, and development of Nuclear and renewable energy, . Exchange student between both counties. partnership to develop Iran's oil fields, and Israel's newly found gas filed. massive industrial parks employing both scientist and skilled workers from both nations.
Instead of Egypt, or Turkey, Iran would lead peace negotiations between Israel & Palestinians, and Syrians. Rather then supply Hamas with means of destruction, provide economic assistance to help the Pals to get on their feet.
That how Iran can become a real super power, and respected by the rest of the nations in the region. NOT by howling like dogs of their desire to destroy other people whom otherwise could help them to solve some of Iran's pestering sever economic and social problems.
That is what I would much prefer to see. Rather then my country is forced to send its military power to Iran, to remove the threat from its existence.
All it takes is visionary and bold leaders, which currently Iran does not have, Leaders who truly put the interest of their own people and future of their country ahead of their own personal hollow and useless ego.
I will be most interested to read some of your comments on this issue.
And to those (gol dast, capt_, etc) who accuse me with spreading propaganda. Save your breath, I don't care what you think. Period

by Ostaad on Wed May 13, 2009 06:56 AM PDTwatching captured Israeli pilots with broken limbs, bandaged faces and some lying down on streches shown on the Iranian TV "confessing" to their crimes and sending "I love my mom" messages. Do you want some?
BTW, all this after Israel's "successful" air attack against Iran, of course.

by OmidKarimi on Wed May 13, 2009 06:23 AM PDTThe report is rubbish and is made by an arm chair general. And as a tip for you on your future post's, do not quote, read or link to Debka. Its not trustworthy and not taken seriously by anyone in the strategic security analysis business. Air strike on Iran from Israel is out of the question.

Let's get this show on the road
by Agha Farshad Khan (not verified) on Wed May 13, 2009 01:40 AM PDTI am just tired of the same old redundant threats emanating from Israel and the Zionist propaganda network; they are apparently all talk and no action. I say let's get this show on the road. Let's start this war; let us fight.
I do not support those incompetent assholes at the helm of the government in Iran, but Iran is my home, the sacred land of my ancestors, the land of Cyrus the great (who, by the way, saved the Hebrew nation from annihilation and oblivion). Iran is our holy land; if Israelis wish us harm, and are determined to assault us, then let's get this war started.
No matter who is in charge in Tehran or Jerusalem, Iran will crush her enemies. Iran WILL destroy Israel.

capt_ayhab - Get grasp of reality mister.
by Mehdi Mazloom on Tue May 12, 2009 06:43 PM PDTAgain, I hope and pray we will not get to that point. But if we ever come to it. You want to read this assessment by General Mullen of the US joint chief of staff.
Add to that, as concerned parties, Egypt, Jordan & Saudi Arabia, and Iraqi Kurds in the north are most likely will help Israel. Should I remind you USis likely to play the same role as the Mullahs are playing in Lebanon, and Gaza. support Israel through proxie.

Israel's Air & Missile Forces Could Wipe out Iran's Nuclear Sites
DEBKA-Net-Weekly Exclusive Updated by DEBKAfile
April 15, 2009
The detailed report compiled by the Center for
Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) in Washington last month,
complete with graphs and diagrams, has been reprinted in thousands of
copies in Tehran. It is compulsory reading for its intelligence and
Revolutionary Guards personnel because the Study on a Possible Israeli
Strike on Iran's Nuclear Development Facilities concludes that the
Jewish state has all the resources necessary for a successful strike.
When
asked recently, Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint US Chiefs of
Staff, agreed with this estimate. This week, president Shimon Peres and
prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu both said that if diplomacy failed to
halt Iran's nuclear activities, Israel would be left with no option
other than the military one. And Tuesday, April 14, the New York Times
quoted an Israeli official as saying that Jerusalem would give the
Obama administration until late 2009 to stop Iran's uranium enrichment
projects; after that, Israel will be forced to act.
Tehran
responded with a complaint to the UN Security Council demanding that
Israel be condemned for "its threats against a sovereign state."
For
the past three years, US military and intelligence sources have used
attributed and leaked assessments to the American media to emphasize
that such an operation is beyond Israel's capabilities because of the
nuclear facilities' wide distribution across Iran. At best, they
maintained, the Israeli Air Force might knock out a few Iranian nuclear
installations, but only enough to put Iran's nuclear drive temporarily
on hold.
The CSIS paper refutes this assessment
and maintains there is no need to destroy dozens or hundreds of sites;
the destruction of seven to nine targets would be enough to cripple the
Iranian program, and lists them as follows:
1. Lashkar A'bad, site of secret uranium enrichment plants in the north near the Turkish border.
2. Tehranb, for the central laboratory for developing atomic armaments as well as more uranium enrichment facilities.
3. Arak, in central Iran, where a heavy water plant is under construction to manufacture plutonium for weapons.
4. Isfahan,
in central Iran, near which a small research reactor and a cluster of
laboratories for uranium enrichment, centrifuges and weapons
development, are situated.
5. Natanz, the main center for uranium enrichment.
6. Ardekan, at the southern tip of Iran, where more uranium enrichment facilities are located.
7. Saghand, Iran's main uranium mining region.
8. Bushehr, on the Persian Gulf shore, Iran's biggest nuclear reactor built by Russia.
9. Gachin, near the Strait of Hormuz, the site of more uranium mines and enrichment facilities.
Complicated
tables set forth an array of technical details showing how many PG
bombs Israeli Air Force F16I or F15F bomber-fighter planes can carry,
how much fuel is needed to reach their Iranian targets, and at what
stage of their return journey they would need to refuel.
This
think tank finds Israel has enough aircraft as well as the necessary
intelligence and electronic resources for the task - contrary to
previous estimates.
The authors propose three
attack routes for a potential Israeli operation against Iran: an
eastern route over Saudi Arabia; a central route over Iraq, and a
northern route over Turkey, Syria and northern Iraqi Kurdistan. They
point to the third as Israel's best option in view of the superiority
of its electronic warfare (EW) capabilities.
This
is the first time a detailed and accurate description of these
capabilities, and a description of how they were put to use in the
Israeli raid on the North Korean-built plutonium reactor in Dar
az-Zawr, Syria, on September, 2007, has ever been published.
