Iran 'test launches' medium-range missile

Iran says it has successfully test launched a mid-range surface-to-surface missile, state media has reported. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the Sajjil-2 missile used "advanced technology" and had "landed exactly" on the unspecified target. He was speaking in Semnan, from where the missile, with a range of 2,000km (1,240 miles), was reportedly launched.

First of all, for those that don't like Islamic Republic, I have to say that I rather see them in charge than Mujahedeen or left over (sold out) Saltanaty Khodfroosh!!!..One day soon we will have a democracy....for now we have a chinese version of government with Islamic twist.....as for the testing and timing of this missiles...they boys in washington and Israel are planning again to strike and divide up Iran based on ethnicity and I hope these technological demonstration would alarm them that we are not defenseless and can hit them back!!

Long live people of Iran.

Funny thing is though, since the news broke out every source were saying [mid-range missile] but the NYT in their headlines in Google said [long-range] and in the body of the report said mid range. and now they say missile with 1200 miles range.

Audacity of this propaganda ragpaper.

I hate the IRI but all this zionist manipulation boils my blood and i can safely say that Id rather have Iran (whether IRI or some other goh) have the capability of striking back and striking back hard.

I heard that US sources (spy satellites) have confirmed such missile launch.

AN needs more threats from Israel to show how brave he is and to get his second term. So he made sure to test a misslie which has the right range, just in case Yabu was not paranoid enough after the WH meeting...
