Ahmadinejad Says State Not Responsible for Inflation

Iran’s accelerating inflation has “absolutely nothing to do with the policies” of the government, the Mehr news agency said, citing President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The country’s economy is still growing by 5 percent to 6 percent and is in good shape compared with international economies, Ahmadinejad was cited by the state-run news agency as saying at a press conference for Iranian media
