Learning to Live With the Devil We Know

The Iranian people went to the polls last Friday to elect a president. Pre-election polling showed the incumbent, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, consistently holding a 2-to-1 advantage over his closest opponent, former Prime Minister Mir Hossein Mousavi. When the final election results were announced by the Iranian Ministry of Interior (the agency responsible for counting the votes and publishing the results), President Ahmadinejad was declared the winner, with 63 percent of the vote—about a 2-to-1 advantage. And yet, when the northern suburbs of Tehran, home to a large number of moderate reform-minded Iranians who are vehemently opposed to Ahmadinejad, erupted in violent protest, and Mousavi began to cry fraud, the Western media immediately jumped on the bandwagon, giving birth to the “instant history” of the 2009 Iranian presidential elections.

Smhb,   The beginning

Smhb,

The beginning of the end of your beloved Fascist regime has come. It might not happen in 2009, and it might, but, the end has started.

You can’t ask people in Iran to live with the regime anymore. Iranians never accepted, nor they will accept your beloved illegal, illegitimate, Fascist, war mongering, humanity hating, clash of civilization, murderous regime.

All I gotta say is that you should be ashamed of yourself by supporting this regime. No decency at all.

We have to find out what happened to Iranian society that it produced people like you.

You conveniently say that the guy was leading 2 to 1 ahead of the election! Said who? There was no such thing! May be he was ahead a month before the election, not a week before. Were you in Iran last month?

Ahamdinejad and his mafia gang cheated big time! I think you like to see him president for whtever reason. It was not only the people in the north tehran, it was all over including the bazaaris! The preotest in tehran which was more than million were average tehranis.

Ahmadijejad might not be thief like most others, but he has a big mouth that has costs iranians dearly. Religious devotees should not run the country! They are the No.1 dictators! They want power!

Look at all of his supporters have an accent! Mostly from some towns or villages. Mostly they are the educated and sophisticated people.

THERE WAS NO ELECTION! DON'T GIVE THAT! IT WAS A CHARADE! IT WAS A BIG PR TRYING TO LEGITIMIZING THEIR OPPRESSIVE REGIME! IT WAS ALL DETERMINED AHEAD OF TIME. WE WERE STILL VOTING IN THE US WHEN THEY DECLARED HIM A WINNER, ONLY COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER TEH POLLS CLOSE! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
