Iran Isn't Behind Baghdad's Recent Carnage

It is unfortunate that the column adopted the absurd anti-Iran allegations of the U.S.-trained Gen. Shahwani, who is famous for years of fabricating allegations against Iran and who was sacked for the security lapses that fostered the recent carnage in Iraq. Contrary to these groundless allegations, Iran fully respects Iraq's sovereignty, strictly adheres to the principle of non-interference in Iraq's internal affairs and wishes for a stable and prosperous Iraq.
