Hamid Karzai, the Afghan President, casts his vote: the West fears that huge fraud has seriously tarnished the election
James Hider in Kabul and Tim Reid in Washington
Widespread and systematic fraud during the Afghan presidential elections has tarnished the legitimacy of any future government and undermined the Nato campaign there, Western and Afghan officials have admitted.
Two more British soldiers were killed yesterday and the commander of the Nato forces in Afghanistan warned President Obama that the eight-year war was in a “serious” state and that big changes were needed if victory was to be achieved.
General Stanley McChrystal is understood to have recommended in a strategic review that counter-insurgency efforts be focused on protecting civilians rather than fighting militants.
August was one of Nato’s bloodiest months in Afghanistan, with 74 soldiers killed. More than 300 have died so far this year, making 2009 the worst year for Western forces since the Taleban were overthrown.

Not only he didn’t say
by Farhad Kashani on Thu Sep 03, 2009 08:25 PM PDTNot only he didn’t say “goh khordam”, but 1- Obama is following his trategy because it’s the right strategy 2- The one who say goh khordam was Khomeini when after 8 years of a pointless war that he started because of his desire to export his “fundamentalism” to Iraq, which led to the destruction of Iran, said I accept the peace terms and that’s like “drinking a cup of poison”.
Bush is a Yale graduate, which school did Khomeini or Khamenei graduate from? The real “gavcharan” and “adamkosh” and “laat” are those in power in Iran right now butchering our people.
I remember some one, not

Under IRI nose, weapons are being sent to Taliban!
by Farhad Kashani on Wed Sep 02, 2009 05:55 PM PDTShah Gholam
Neo Comms like you wanted to sell Iran to USSR. Iranians didn’t let that happen. Now they want to sell it to Russia and China. Iranians won’t let that happen too.
However, Iranians, with the help of the West, and all freedom loving people around the world, will kick your beloved Fascist IRI regime out of power, then Neo Comms like you have only N Korea to fled to, where you gonna stave to death shouting anti American propaganda.
Furthermore, under West’s “nose”, Afghanistan got their first democracy in history, their first election, millions of Afghani girls who were denied education by IRI’s protégé, the Taliban, went back to school. Under IRIs “nose” and in front of Afghanis eyes, IRI is sending weapons to Taliban and others to destabilize Afghanistan and send it back to the stone age where it once was, just how Iran is right now under your beloved IRI.
Bring it on.
