Twitterers paid to spread Israeli propaganda

Israel's foreign ministry is reported to be establishing a special undercover team of paid workers whose job it will be to surf the internet 24 hours a day spreading positive news about Israel.

Internet-savvy Israeli youngsters, mainly recent graduates and demobilised soldiers with language skills, are being recruited to pose as ordinary surfers while they provide the government's line on the Middle East conflict.

The existence of an "internet warfare team" came to light when it was included in this year's foreign ministry budget. About $150,000 has been set aside for the first stage of development, with increased funding expected next year.

Israel has developed an increasingly sophisticated approach to new media since it launched a "Brand Israel" campaign in 2005.

"During Operation Cast Lead we appealed to Jewish communities abroad and with their help we recruited a few thousand volunteers, who were joined by Israeli volunteers," Mr Shturman said.

"We gave them background material and hasbara material, and we sent them to represent the Israeli point of view on news websites and in polls on the internet."

Be aware of these people who cloak themselves in Iranian flag as Democratic forc es for Iran but in actuality are pushing Zionist proppaganda. Be it volunters or paid, they are not for well being of Iran in any form and shape. Read the following carefully:

Shah Gholam and all other

by Farhad Kashani on

Shah Gholam and all other IRI goons,

Finally you got to the point! I feel sorry for you since you are really more confused than I originally thought, so let me tell you something.

Nothing makes me happier than when IRi and its goons call me “Israeli agent”, you know why>? Birdbrain, thug-wannabee, confused Fascist IRI supporter losers like you don’t get it but here’s why:

IRIs anti Israeli propaganda is not a sign of “righteousness”, the only thing it represents is its desperation and lack of legitimacy and credibility, because if you are a democratic humane government, you don’t have to engage in this anti Israeli or any other kind of extreme behavior or propaganda madness (regardless of how good or bad Israel or others are) to legitimize yourself among your supporters and the people you rule. Only low confidence paranoid and illegitimate regimes, which IRI is the best example of, bash others in order for themselves to look righteous because Khomeini and Khamenei know very very very very well, the vast majority of Iranians are counting the mini seconds for this regime, and its supporters like you, to go the hell. So they have to blame others and make others look bad in order to gain legitimacy.

So, maybe you didn’t know this, but now you do. Anti Israeli propaganda by a Fascist regime like IRi is only digging itself a bigger hole and nothing else. You wanna join their sinking boat, I highly recommend it!

There you go. That’s the secret that birdbrains in “dailykos” and “antiwar” don’t tell you because they are bunch of Neo Comms losers like yourself! IRIs blind anti Semitist behavior has produced nothing but more backlash and more illegitimacy for the regime and the ones who perpetuate their propaganda; idiots like you.

SG,

I have seen many Israeli/pro Israeli posters in this site, two of whom you crrectly refered to, but anonymous111 is not one of them. .... I know this because I have argued with him/her! Plesae correct.

Bavafa

And I must clarify Shah Ghollam: Those are wrong reason

by Bavafa on

First, I have serious doubts in the "intelligence" of the IRI as enemy of Zionist or otherwise, now had Shah Ghollam had said, "lack of intelligent" he would found me more in agreement. Secondly, I think the situation of Palestinians and Zionism is a world issue and not just Iran so if IRI had any intelligence, it would make it a world issue and not Iran's issue. Lastly, agree that Persians saved Jews from Babylon but this issue is about Zionism and not Jews. Your statement is a racist one and resembles the ones that you are so dead against

Old Trick

by anonymous111.2 on

So, the IRI is conducting show trials in Iran and is accusing everyone who particpated in the post-election uprising of being a "Zionist" agent.  Then, its agents on this site are doing the same thing with critics of the IRI.

For your (and your cheerleader buddies below) infomation, I have always called Israel an apartheid regime and have never taken its side.  Instead of slandering people here, why don't you show the readers here one example of a situation in which I supported Israel.  If you don't, then you're a liar (but we knew that already).  Note: opposing you is not taking sides with israel.  I know that this is what the IRI does (calling all its opponents Israel supporters).  But that old tric doesn't even work in Iran anymore.

Good luck, buddy.

Irandokht:  please go ahead and flag this comment too, like you do with all my comments.  Whatever makes you happy. :-)

The reason why

by Shah Ghollam on

Zionists see Iran and Iranians as their imortal enemy because it is the first time that they are facing an intelligent enemy in their mere sixty years of existance. Gone the days that they could lamblast Iran much like any Arab country then invade and get away with very little scratch.

I always say, it was the Persians that freed them from Babylon, it is on us to put them back into the bottle. They have been undeservingly free on too much borrowed time!

Expose Zionists!!!!!

Bavafa

Israel should screen their paid workers a bit more

by Bavafa on

These guys spewing so much non-sense that if one wasn't against Israel to start with, reading/seeing their hypocrisy, will get them turned off and possibly turn against Israel. It is also advisable for Israel to add a few other [insulting] words to their vocabulary… all we get is "Islamist cutthroats, Islamist/Anti-Semites" even if the topic of the discussion is the price of tea in China

In twitter it's harder to figure them out cuz they can't possibly fit all their raging, accusations, name-callings, hate speeches and slogans in 140 characters or less.

Not hard to tell in here. They're always ready to jump at you and accuse you! That's the first sign. I am just sorry to know they get paid for it... and I have to tolerate them for free?

Not fair!

:o)

Our lovely Israeli Ushpizins ("holy guests")

by kharmagas on

SG,

These guys are our "holy guests" as depicted in the Israeil movie Ushpizin.

Please see the link (//www.abc.net.au/atthemovies/txt/s1569807.htm) and you'll see what I mean. Here is an excerpt:

"...a couple of guests turn up. Eliahu, Shaul Misrahi, and Yosef,
Ilan Gannai, are day release convicts who have decided not to to return to
prison;..."

If you get a chance, watch the move (Ushpizin), it is hilarious.
