Rafsanjani calls for unity in Iran

TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Chairman of Iran's Assembly of Experts, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani urged for boosting unity among different groups of people in Iran. Speaking at the Assembly of Experts meeting on Tuesday he said, "we must prepare the situation for unity and solidarity in the society and remove the obstacles of unity." "The ways to find the means of unity between groups who are willing to cooperate within the framework of the constitution and regulations, are seen in the recent remarks by the Supreme Leader and the sacred aim of unity could be provided by relying on them," he asserted referring to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's remarks in a recent Friday prayers and Eid al-Fitr on Sunday.
