US Republicans side with Halliburton/KBR against gang-raped woman

A federal appeals court
has ruled a woman who says she was gang-raped by co-workers of the war
contractor KBR can pursue her case in open court.

The three-judge panel rejected KBR’s attempt to have the case handled in private arbitration instead of a courtroom.

In 2005, Jamie Leigh Jones
was gang-raped by her Halliburton/KBR co-workers while working in Iraq
and locked in a shipping container for over a day to prevent her from
reporting her attack.

I googled and yahooed everywhere I could.  I was determined to find something... anything... that would give justice for those 30 republicans.

What did I find?  Jack shit.  Nothing.  I'm serious... I WANTED to find something that would explain their vote.  I'm saddened and mostly depressed to realize that there does not seem to be ANY viable justification.

If and when someone comes in to support their vote, I'll gladly listen.  But until then, my utter contempt for Cheney continues.  (I'm simply annoyed with Bush... Cheney holds the only spot in my heart for what comes even close to hatred).
