The regime’s handling of the late dissident cleric’s death has...only expanded public sympathy for the Green cause, and particularly to a more pious demographic...It has become increasingly clear that MANY RELIGIOUS IRANIANS ARE BECOMING AWARE OF A TRUTH THAT MONTAZERI STATED LONG AGO: The Islamic Republic acts anything but Islamic. 

The Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) has reportedly recognized just how ill-advised the regime’s blundering actions in the aftermath of Montazeri’s death were....

THE NUMBER OF CITIES THAT ARE PLANNING DEMONSTRATIONS IS APPROACHING TWO DOZEN.  What this inevitably means is that the regime's problem of how to allocate the deployment of security forces in Tehran will soon take on macro dimensions...the regime has never more needed that muscle to remain in the capital.  At the same time, if security forces leave Isfahan in order to stand down protesters in Tehran on Sunday, that would leave Iran's heartland vulnerable just as protests there are becoming more and more blistering...THERE ARE SIMPLY TOO MANY CRACKS FOR THE REGIME TO PATCH  and it increasingly appears that something must soon give.

FORMULA FOR DRAWING ANGRY PEOPLE TO THE OPPOSITION

SHOCKING KHAMENI BEHAVIOR WORTH 10 TO 100 OR MORE ANGRY RECRUITS

Each public beating of a demonstrator with Khamenei's full approval

 (Number of points varies depending on gender and age of victim, severity of beating, whetherr caught on video and replayed over and over for all Iran to see)

SHOCKING KHAMENEI BEHAVIOR WORTH TENS OF THOUSANDS

--His open badmouthing of Montazeri for the crime of insisting the regime treat Iran's people humanely

--The way he orders police to stand by and while his thugs to attack top Ayatollahs, invade their homes and even hang his own picture inside as a final insult (Word travels fast)

--The way Khamenei's thugs "stuff" mosques so their is no room for Montazeri's real mourners.

--The way Khamenei's thugs shut down mosques or severely and shamelessly beat those who attended mourning services as soon as they emerge (hundreds of broken noses, arms and legs).

--Where mourners manage to hold a service, Khamenei has ordered his Basilj thugs to beat them severely as they leacve (breaking hundreds of noses and hundreds of arms and legs.

--Khamenei has given orders forbidding the entire people of Iran from mourningh Montazeri at any time and especially on Ashura.

It is time for demonstrators to start carrying clubs and chains to defend themselves against such attack.  Any Basilj attackling a demonstrator should be beaten with the same ruthlessness Khamenei uses on the people.

 

1. In subduing one demonstor with a public beating, Khamenei's thugs recruit a dozen to a hundred angry people to the opposition (The number depends on who is beaten, how vigorously 

FOR EVERY DEMONSTRATOR PUBLICLY BEATEN BY KHAMENEI'S THUGS, the opposition probably gains at least 100 angry  converts.

FOR EVERY ATTACK ON TOP CLERICS IN THE HEARTLAND, the opposition gains thousands of angry recruits

The effect is now greatest where Khamenei's support used to be strongest: the pious heartland.  -an effect now greatest exactly where Khamenei once enjoyed his strongest support--the pious heartland.  People are shocked as his thugs act as they beat their friends, neighbors, children, etc.  The number of broken noses, arms and legs is countless.  People see old women try to cover Khamenei's victims with their bodies only to be beaten in turn.  themselves on male victims and are beatrewn in turb.

Every attack on high dissident clergy in the heartland wins thousands to the opposition.
