January 27th, 2010, Washington, D.C. - Today the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform passed H. Res 267, the resolution in honor of the Iranian New year (Nowruz), therefore moving it one step closer to being voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Furthermore, PAAIA has worked with Congressman Honda’s office over this past year to promote the Nowruz resolution and gain co-sponsors.
