was one of the more intelligent and reasonable US officials. 

He is realistic but not of the Leverett kind. His point is well taken. Support the unrest and have a color revolution. Is Obama smart enough to listen to Baker? Or is he going to follow the Carter path. I hope he goes with Baker.

Support the unrest instead of striking Iran. To the Point !

Remember Baker with the late Alexander Haig both supported Poland and the Eastern Bloc melting away from the Soviet Empire by supporting and ecouraging Velvet Revolutions.
