The Baha’i faith was founded by Persians in Persia, present-day Iran.

Other than the founded by Persians part, the Baha'i faith was properly and accurately founded in Edirne/Adrianople on the Black Sea coast of the Ottoman empire in 1867, and not in Iran.

Yes, I am a propagandist for the Irfanic Republic of Eran-Vej. You guys are propagandists for Neo-Liberal, pro-Zionist Neo-Colonialist agendas in Iran and the Middle East as Haifan Bahais. Fussy is a propagandist for the (un)Islamic republic of the Sepah military theocracy. Welcome to the company of propagandists.

BTW on TRB on USENET I am no longer being accused of being an agent of the Islamic republic. Your Baha'i Internet Agency operatives over there have now publicly retracted that accusation. I am now being accused by one of your fellow BIA  people of actually being an agent of the uhj. Can you believe that? Could you please keep your conspiracy narratives about me consistent. I am either 1) an agent of the IRI, 2) crazy or 3) an agent of the uhj. I cannot be all three at the same time. Thanks, Anvar.

Conspiracy theories and the Persian Mind

by AsteroidX on

//iranian.com/May96/Opinion/Conspiracy.html

Note especially "Conspiracies of the Freemasons, Bahais and Zionists" and the new term being touted: "gharbzadegi " or "westoxication" .

Need we say more about these toxic people which are in fact supporting Islamic IRI ideologies despite whatever mask they wear as a form of disguise. You can smell the beast from miles away.

This is another beauty:

"as an Iranian nationalist I have found it very troubling over the years that the Baha'i organization's human rights violation claims on closer examination are largely bogus, contrived and often exagerrated. Indeed - other than 200 odd people who were executed by the regime for various crimes of corruption under the previous one (and not due to their religious affiliation, despite what Baha'is say) - it appears that the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran have actually gone out of their way to accomodate the Baha'is inside Iran. ..... the Baha'is have also gone out of their way to fabricate or exagerrate human rights violations in Iran with Western human rights groups in order to maintain some bloated sense of relevence with the outside world and as a means by their leadership to divert the attention of its rank-and-file from internal problems, massive corruptions and misdeeds "

Dispicable, malicious slanderous remarks to undermine the execution of innocent Bahais, destroying their families, denying their children higher education, rights to inheritance, etc by corrupt Islamists. Shame on the lot of you. If there is a God hope you answer to him one day.

Whose leaders are anti Iran?

by Anvar on

“We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”  -  Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini

He was the Islamic leader of Iran who changed its name to Islamic Iran and caused the deaths of thousands of Iranians.  Somehow, he and his follower are considered to be pro-Iran and Baha’i leaders, who’ve sacrificed everything for the well-being of other Iranians, are supposedly anti-Iran!  It is obvious who the propagandists on Iranian.com are.

For those having a difficult time understanding the concept of world citizenship; with an open mind, you may think of it as Ummah or Ummah Wahida.  The difference is that world citizenship teaches Oneness and Unity of All Humanity, and Ummah advocates One Community for Muslims only.

As suggested in some comments, the trials of religious leaders for their alleged “treasonous activities” would be interesting.  As long as we don’t have judges like Khalkhali (another ayatollah!), there shouldn’t be a problem with holding Baha’i and Muslim leaders accountable for what they’ve done for, and to, Iran.  In fact, millions of Iranians are looking forward to such trials.

As for the idea of making people “leave the country” based on their religious beliefs; I find the concept of ethnic/religious cleansing of a country appalling, not to mention that it’s not practical either.  The Baha’i faith was founded by Persians in Persia, present-day Iran.  Islam was founded by Arabs in present-day Saudi Arabia.  Who’s supposed to go where?  Go figure!

Propaganda is to purposefully distract from the topic of the blog (atrocities against Baha’is on Muslim holy days) and jump in to make baseless accusations and insinuations about Baha’i headquarters in Haifa, present-day Israel!  As I’ve already stated, it is obvious who the propagandists on Iranian.com are.

The pattern?

by Nur-i-Azal on

The Pharisees turned against Jesus, the Quraishi turned against
Muhammed (PBUH). The goverment of Iran has taught its people to fear
Baha'is.

And you Haifan Baha'is have turned against me and taught your people to fear me ;0)  See the irony?

BTW make your minds up. You are either 5 million, 6 million or 7 million. Well?

Yes, Baha'is

It has probably been said here so many times that it is almost painful to remind Mr. Gorilla that Baha'is are not allowed to be against anything, politically. The teachings of the Baha'i Faith are deeply Iranian, which is to say that they are univeralistic and timeless. 7 million people follow these teachings around the world and none of them would dream to lift a finger against the land of Iran, for it is that sacred to them. So sacred, that the Baha'is there endure terrible hardships in the place that gave birth to their Faith. What greater test of love could be asked of a people?  How sad to hear these statements yet again.  Nevertheless the Baha'i Faith has done nothing but grow and grow.

The Pharisees turned against Jesus, the Quraishi turned against Muhammed (PBUH). The goverment of Iran has taught its people to fear Baha'is.

See the pattern?

Ditto!

BUT you guys in your own gigantic stupidity have unwittingly given a thoroughly undeserved credibility to these people in the West. Had your system and its leaders not been as idiotic as they are and had they simply ignored these people completely and left them alone, or, if you insisted on taking extreme measures, as humanely as possible just expelled them from Iran without any incident, there would never be an excuse handed to this community to spearhead claims about your leaders' HR violations in Western circles. After all who would take a group of utopians seriously who want to take over the world? You see, you people are dumb as doorknobs and are exactly like these Baha'is in your own way, and as such, given this, you people are directly responsible for what they are representing to the eyes of the West today. This is your regime's unwitting Frankenstein monster...

Bahais

I do know many formerly Iranian Bahai families who are nice, hospitable, and family-oriented. Most of their children pursue education and are well-behaved mambers of society. Unfortunately, their faith teaches them to be the citizens of the world which necessarily means that they are not nationalistic and although they are culturally very Iranian (note my first comments about them), they are very un-Iranian when it comes to their politics. In fact, they are anti-Iranian and very ready to betray Iran.  Many of their leaders are propagandists against Iran and support anti-Iran policies of the U.S. and Israel.  Having their headquarters and leaders in Haifa, present-day Israel, they support Israel which makes them traitors to Iran.  Those Bahais who are arrested in Iran are among those leaders and deserve to be arrested until they either leave the country or stop their treasonous activities. The postings on them here on Iranian.com is  part of that propaganda.
