Iran in Its Intricacy

No better way to ensure that exists than beefing up military assistance to Iran’s neighbors. Remember, Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader, is the “Guardian of the Revolution.” Job No. 1 for him is preservation. Iran will not build a bomb — forbidden by his own fatwa — if convinced its price is the revolutionary regime itself.

Roger Cohen is great...

... but I disagree with him on this point. Beefing up Arabs military is a bad idea.

The ever eagle eye John

The ever eagle eye John says:

Did you actually read this extremely well-written, intelligent, thoughtful and informative article?  No, I thought not.[sic]

Cohen is not "The clueless Roger pushing arms" as you titled your post.  He is 100% against military intervention in Iran, either by the US or by Israel, or by any other nation.”

The eagle eye John should practice what he preaches and read before commenting. To counterbalance the Islamist Rapists the clueless Roger is proposing to pump in even more arms; you know bomb and stuff, into the region. His brilliant idea was even highlighted for the impatient like the eagle eye John.

Fred, you are so tiresome with your disdain for Roger Cohen.

Did you actually read this extremely well-written, intelligent, thoughtful and informative article?  No, I thought not.

Cohen is not "The clueless Roger pushing arms" as you titled your post.  He is 100% against military intervention in Iran, either by the US or by Israel, or by any other nation.  His article is hopeful and uplifting;  it's a shame that you seem to be unable to see this through your hate-coloured lenses.
