Opposition leader Mehdi Karroubi urged Iranian judiciary to rescind the death sentence of Mohammad Amin Valian. Mohammad Amin Valian is an Ashura Day detainee who has been handed a death sentence for the charge of enmity with God (Moharebeh).

"for throwing stones"?  give me a break. Regardless, though, death sentence is very serious matter and should not be handed out like peanuts.  Death sentences should be banned all over the world. Give him life in prison with hard labor to teach him a lesson for ....whatever he did.

This young man received death sentence for throwing rocks. This case has attracted widespread reaction across the world.....hopefully this young man's life can be saved!
