Despite being one of Iran's most popular singers, Ebrahim Hamedi has not been in the country since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The Persian megastar, known to millions of fans simply as Ebi, has produced album after album of Farsi pop from the US and Europe.

BBC Persian's Azi Khatiri met him in London.

Not only is he talented but truly Classy and Intelligent.

Can't say it is the case with All Pop Stars of his generation. I think he is even more profound and sincere than Googoosh.

I didn't know much about him before the Revolution cause I was too young but I am discovering alot of his interesting works be it on film or in music.

A Real Maestro !
