Of course, "Its about money" (wow, very insightful)

As in the thieves of the IRGC-affiliated gang are fighting over the Iranian people's money with the thieves of the Rafsanjani-affiliated gang. And there is no honor among thieves. It remains to be seen what could happen if the stash of loot starts getting smaller as more serious sanctions are imposed.

No Fear

I sincerely hope...

That the government of Ahmadinejad stands firm and don't give in the pressure to eliminate taxes for the Baazaris.

The baazar entire operation in our economy is about "buying low and selling high". They do not produce anything. These Baazaris have become extremely wealthy operating their businesses with over 300 percent margins and profits. While a small manufacture or toulidi in Iran, operates at a mere 15  percent profitibility.

The bazzar should be taxed to the bone for its way of harming the economy with its methods. I remember Ahmadinejad tried to tax them a few years back and they did the same thing by striking and closing down their shops. Back then, Ahmadinejad gave in and did not introduce any tax on their incomes.

But i hope he does it this time. Manufacture's taxes should be reduced while bussinesses which operate as "middle man" in our economy, should get taxed until they realize " producing" is more appealing than what they are doing.

PS: Ofcourse to some people, this is all about Baazaris asking for human rights, freedom of speech and association, elimination of VF, blah blah blah.....

Its about money.

Bazaris Strike has spread to Hamedan and Tabriz,

by Hoshang Targol on

Could Esfehan be next? stay tuned.

Massive street demonstrations, violent crack down by security forces, mass arrests, ever growing conflict between the legislative and executive branches and now spreading of strikes amongst the merchant class of Bazar.

Does any of this resemble 1978-79? Or is it just a mere coincidence!
