An Iranian news agency has posted video on its website of what it said were mass graves dug ready for any invading forces. The shaky images, accompanied by ominous music, show row after row of large trenches, in an unpopulated desert area.
The video was posted on the semi-official Fars news agency’s website, but there was no indication of when the film was made.
The deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Gen Hossein Kan’ani Moghadam, said graves for any attacking US troops have been dug in Iran’s southwestern Khuzestan province, where Iran buried Iraqi soldiers killed during the 1980-88 war between the Islamic republic and Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s regime.
