No, I don't know Hoder personally. This blog I wrote in the summer pretty much revealss all the reasons for my emotional and intellectual attachment to his cause.

Actually, he is getting a very large amount of world attention now. There are so many, so many...it seems like every day a new one pops up. Still, always there is one who is most visible for a time for whatever compelling reason...

Regarding the photos, I just got them a few days ago, believe it or not, and after all that they don't work, they need to be cropped. But for a couple of reasons I'd rather ask someone else to do it, or better, take new ones. They're no great shakes. But I'm lazy. Otherwise I would've done this six months ago.

      I have not forgotten the discussion either! Uyghurs are always in my heart! Where is your new avatar by your photographer friend? Do you know Hoder personally? Did you visit his blogs?

Ashtiani's and Maziar Bahari's cases gripped world's attention.....I don't understand why Hoder's verdict failed to get the outrage from international community! I hope he gets out soon!

AN is losing it!

A bit of miscalculation on his part?! Ignorance on international affairs is nothing new in IRI, starting with Khomeini himself. But as long as you can count on a massive popular support, you can ignore almost anything. What AN is losing is the people. The brain, he never had. 

But he and his army is still a tough nut to crack. As in Mars Attack, the only way to kill them is to make them listen to the music provided by Rosie.
