Shame on Iranian.com for such disseminations
by Farshad Z. (not verified) on Wed Oct 31, 2007 07:15 PM PDTI understand how one could be profoundly disenchanted with the post revolutionary government and occurrences back home, but why insult our sanctities!? ..... Iran has always been a religious nation, from our Zoroastrian past and the religious/cultural tolerance and respect practiced by our great ancestors such as Koorosh-e-Bozorg, to the prevalence of our post Islamic Shi'eh doctrine. The above narrative would have been a mere satirical concoction had it not made reference to Emam Ja'far Sadegh, at which point it became flagrantly offensive. Promulgation of such insensitive articles, many of which I have unfortunately come across on this web site, is desecration of sincere beliefs of millions of people in Iran and elsewhere; beliefs for which many of our compatriots have paid the ultimate price with their lives and limbs. Additionally, it is an insult added to the pain of those who have lost loved ones in this process. While perhaps a few frivolous laughs are generated, such articles are contrary to dignified journalism.

by Anon34 (not verified) on Wed Oct 31, 2007 06:33 AM PDTThis is very informative. I have read it several times over, but still not able to find the answer to my question. I now understand how gays and prostitutes come about, but what about lesbians? I wonder if the great teachings of Islam can explain this to me....
