Reza Najfar has been professor for flute at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck (Austria) since 1992. Najfar comes from an artistically adept family in Teheran, Iran, and has adopted Austria as his home country. He received his first musical education in Teheran and finished his studies of flute there before, in the course of his further education, he came to Utrecht and Vienna in order to study the flute with Abbie de Quant (Netherlands) and Barbara Gisler-Haase, as well as composition with Thomas Christian David and Dieter Schermann (Vienna music academy) www.najfar.com
