This guys rant is stupid to say the least. However, it should be noted that MEMRI TV has been caught fabricating stuff in their translations many times and should not be taken seriously. The translation is suspect. MEMRI translates information to match their political point of view. And that view is anti-Arab.

To those folks that say such things as "I have to admit that I don't find anything overtly out of line with what this guy is saying in this video". Sure, they also say Islam is religion of choice then they KILL whoever turn away from islam! Moslem invaders put the sword against under occupation citizens, such as Iranians, and asked them if they were Moslem or not … The NOT ones’ throat were slit on the spot.

Jewish People Are a Lot More Religious

I agree with Daryush in that Jewish folks are generally more religious and follow the Torrah more closely than Muslims do the Qoran but of course Zionist propagandists (Notice how I don't use the term Jewish) such as the MEMRI TV conveniently/deliberately omit that BIT of information.

Having said that, I have to admit that I don't find anything overtly out of line with what this guy is saying in this video. Today, in Iran they hang women (married or not) that have sex with strangers; this is the opposite what this sheikh is preaching: "...women that commit fornication don't deserve to die...".

Having looked at the video a couple of times it seems to me that his beliefs stem from a cultural standpoint than a religious one!

Public Fornication

I don't ever remember when I masturbated or fornicated in front of 4 witnesses. Out of thousands of times that I have masturbated, I think only once, my cousin and I did it in front of each other. This is not propaganda. This is real arab TV. The guy is saying that a female who masturbates or sleeps around should be flogged. Have you ever seen some crazy rabbi saying this on Israeli TV preaching to the general public? I am sure there are rabbis who think this way and are backwards as you say- but if the Israeli's put them (the backward rabbis) on tv it would be to make fun of them and show how backwards they are - they would not put him on tv to take him seriously as done in the Islamic world. MEMRI TV is great at documenting what goes on in the Islamic Press (Arab world and Iran). Its actual TV. Its what people see on tv in the middle east. The truth is now "zionist propaganda". Amazing!

I can find many Jews worse than this

This guy is not a Mullah!! You should know that Mullahs are not dress like this. Plus good or bad, I never look at anything from MemriTV that is a jewish propaganda. I would like them to go find one of those backward Rabbis, but nooooo, they consider their own religion wise since they talk for the "chosen" people. Give me a break. Israeli's are the most religious but act like they are so open minded and make fun of other religious people. While if they weren't religious I would take them more seriously. By the way, in the new polls it shows that 2/3 of the Israelis, especially the young, see themselves superior to the Arabs!! go figure, then keep feeding them these bullshits, what do you expect?

This guy is a religious preacher who is preaching morals in his own language and to people of his own culture. Why should people, living thousands of miles way, subtitle it in english and post it on their websites to make fun of it? Should everyone in every culture share you view on every subject so that you don't mock them?
