"Martyr" and "Martyrdom" only advocate brutality-correction

We must admit that through honoring killing or being killed we cannot find a remedy for the pains of our society.

"Shahid" and Shahadat" ("martyr" and "martyrdom") are based upon tribal revenge and religious retribution and should be eliminated from our criminal laws. Modern mindset can not welcome such thoughts and actions. They only advocate brutality.

We also request all our song writers and singers to withdraw from acceptance of capital punishment in any form or shape for religion purposes or against political opponents unconditionally.

Very nice...Benyamin is a talented young singer... Artists must preserve and practice their art under all circumstances. What is wrong with singing a religious song anyways?

During Ashura, I still recall the Akhoond sobbing and inviting the audience to join him, "Mossalmoonha Geryeh Koneen!" This song is another version of the same crap. I guess, in Islam spreading sadness brings salvation!

Death-worshipping and Karbala are not pleasant to my Iranian soul. It is dark and backward. I am really weary with these not modern and abstract bull craps. My own Iranian heritage serves me fine.
