youth under the bridge
by Faribors Maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on Thu Jun 26, 2008 12:51 AM PDTThe song was sang by a femal singer named DELKASH, a beloved singer specially by iranian girls and women. her desteny was as i have described. The Video is a fake. If not so are the poeple who have participated in the "protest" are the best candidate for gathering mines and make the way free for Passdaran if it should ever be necessary. The elders of us have surely the melody stil in mind and have understood spontaneously what i have meant.Greeting

by Faribors Maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on Thu Jun 26, 2008 12:44 AM PDTIt would be also healthy if all women in the united states had eqwual rights. For example up to the moment in united states:
for raping a black female must the raper go to jail for 2 years
for raping a hispaniol 5 years AND
for raping of a white 10 years. I think Miss/Mrs EBADI could have said a word about this unequality as she was in the states. But in fact urging against lack of human rioghts in the Islamic Republic of Iran btings money, a lot of money. According to general experience with rules and laws in the united states one must assume if ever somebody should decide about this matter the decision would be: For raping 2 years for all. Greeting

Isfahani Idol
by Anonymous111 (not verified) on Wed Jun 25, 2008 08:45 PM PDTAmazing talent, I wonder if we had a contest like "American Idol" How many of these beautiful singers will show up. Alot better than the "Dar-e-Piti" singers of LA.
One thing I just thought of, that Shiraz is the birth place of great poets, like Saddi, Hafez. Isfahan is a birth place of great singers like Moein, Hessmedin Seraj, and so many others.
God Bless you all
You are right Hajminator

It's nice and very Iranian

by Hajminator on Wed Jun 25, 2008 01:46 PM PDTWhat I call 'pacific resistance' is the gathering of people to do something officially forbidden but unofficially admitted: it's different to hear a song alone in his house than to sing it in a public place under Isphahan's symbol of impressiveness. Very nostalgic for me nevertheless.

by Abarmard on Wed Jun 25, 2008 01:31 PM PDTJust to let you know, all these songs are on the radio daily. Some people don't know or understand Iran. Not to say that the people are not sick and tried of the establishment, but this is not one of those occasions :)

That's some kind of pacific resistance. Loved it, I hoped to be there.
Beautiful Voices!
by Payam S (not verified) on Wed Jun 25, 2008 12:45 PM PDTLoved it. 20 years ago, they would have been reciting the Qoraan instead of singing songs. It shows the shift within the Iranian society from religious to secularism.
Peace,
Payam
Boys under the bridge

Men singing songs under bridge in Esfahan
WE USED TO SAY: DELKASH WAS PREVENTESD; SHE HAS SENT HER SERVANT. In cases where somebody sang KHAREJ, like the man hier.
NOW serious: One day is the naked man in TEhran
another day TV-Live, woman urges against Women`s Park. Und today a song of DELKASH, young Isfahanis, Bridge in Isgahan. Every body knowes that with a little help of modern technik every thing is possible. also the three items which are mentioned. they are all artificial. The purpose of these and likewise fakes is to convince old gentlemen who have left their Home and now have forgotten why they did it. However it is again a nice experience which "IRANIAN"s performes. The song is much older that the youth in Today Iran could ever have memorised. Elders know it of course. In tat times was it a nice song, Delkash was stil not prostituted. she resisted first but "they" sent a CHAGHUKESH who troubled the lady and said he loves her und after a while Delkash came to striptease cafes and sang and went them with special guests away. Likewise desteny was made nearly for every female singer and artist. Just think only on SHAPOORI: She was victim of Bakhtiar Police chief of Tehran. he fighted sinmultouniously the politicians. Most of them were TUDEI. also the GUGUSH, a favorite figure in "IRANIAN" had troubles but only with civil courts. She had often to leave Iran not beeing forced to go to this or that civil process against her. The story is long. The video is a fake. Greeting
