It is nice to see a female grow up in a objective environment. She is free from prejudice. Bravo for her. Whether she decides to one day marry she has the right to marry whoever she wishes. I know of a lot of Iranian women who go on to marry blacks, Orientals, Indians and Pakistanis. This usually happens in Europe, Austrailia, and North America. It leads to a future generation that is culturally diverse. Many historians say that Cyrus, the Persian king from the Akhmenid dynasty was ethnicly Afghani. And why not? Iran is a diverse nation with diverse peoples. Let us not forget that after the Safavids, the Afghans ruled Iran for some time.

my grandmother would blur out racist comments and embarass me, but it was just she wasnt used to blacks as she came to live with us in the west. eventually she came to like black people because of Bill Cosby show in the 80s, she is gone now but when i think back i smile and remember my grandmother as one of the sweetest but just not used to other people.
