AP: Beverly Hills attorney Cyrus Sanai is pictured in Santa Monica, Calif. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Sanai began alerting news organizations in Jan. 2008 to sexually explicit photos and videos on the personal Web site of 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Alex Kozinski, who is currently overseeing an obscenity trial against a porn movie distributor. Sanai said he discovered the graphic material in December on Kozinski's Web site, which he was monitoring as part of a long-running dispute he has with the 9th Circuit tied to his parents' divorce case [Kozinski's reply]. LOS ANGELES TIMES: Judge Kozinski on Friday stepped down from a high-profile obscenity trial in Los Angeles, three days after acknowledging that he had posted sexually explicit material on a publicly accessible personal website. "In light of the public controversy surrounding my involvement in this case, I have concluded that there is a manifest necessity to declare a mistrial... I will recuse myself from further participation in the case and will ask the chief judge of the district court to reassign it to another judge," Kozinski wrote>>>

by Saç Ekimi (not verified) on Mon May 18, 2009 02:03 PM PDTHi Pedram: Interesting. So, was it a personal vandetta? Was it Mr. Sanai's dispute about a family case Judge Kozinski had presided over that lead to all this? Following all the links in the piece, it's kind of hard to decide whether Mr. Sanai is a good Iranian or not!

He is one of the original artists who has already made a place for himself in history of Iranian music. It would be great to be in the same room with him to get some of that good energy. I wish he could put a concert in Seattle as well. All the power to him.
Judge dispute
by Fredrico (not verified) on Tue Nov 11, 2008 11:21 PM PSTThe complaint against Judge Kozinski, lodged by Esquire Sanai is taking a long tome to resolve, and it was shifted back East to the 3rd circuit in Philly.
Unfortunately, the 3rd Circuit hired some large corporate law firm to look into the complaint, ursuping the role of the judges, as those private corporate lawyers were never appointed Judges.
Short of a referral for impeachment to the Congress, this Kozinski will not even get a slap on the wrist.
While he is a great embarrasment to federal courts, and any notion of fair and impartial justice, he is
locked in his power Chambers, and is beyond being held accountable. It will emblolden him to be even more tyrannical, if anything.

I bow down to such an atty!
by Anonymous_bow_down (not verified) on Tue Jun 24, 2008 10:14 PM PDTI bow down to such an atty! For those who may not know this... this could've ended Mr. Sanai's career if he wasn't able to back up his allegations. Good job. Those kind of judges have NO business being on the bench. BOW DOWN!
Yiddish judge screws America
by Brent (not verified) on Sat Jun 21, 2008 02:13 PM PDTDidn't Judge Kozinski put up the horse(or donkey) chasing a man to symbolize how he can
hand out rulings, and make some one feel like they have been screwed.
He seems to have a number of those kind of
images in his CHAMBER computer hook ups.
A bad image of a Jewish judge from L. A just toying with the GOYS, perhaps ?
Maybe he will get some reward, as if he has tortured the Sanai family, and get invited by Bush for a medal of Freedom Award at the AIPAC convention.
After all, he has shown he can rig a lot of things besdies computers if one looks at his road to the BENCH. The Jewish Judge cabal of the 9th Circuit, doling out hate to the GOYS, and laughing.
To News Goffer!
by PedramMoallemian on Sun Jun 15, 2008 01:21 PM PDTI personally do not know enough about the details to pass judgement and only forwarded what was reported by AP. He certainly does not come across too well in what I have read so far and words such as 'holding a grudge' and even 'jerk' are uttered by others close to me. As you say though, the jury is still out.
Begim afarin?!

Since Judge Kozinski will now be under investigation, I suppose we can say "the jury is still out" on what really happened here! I just hope Mr. Sanai knows what he's doing!
