Haji everyone told me they'll give me a job just like you say. But I knew they were lying. You must have been very naive and simple to be fooled by them. Just because you are simple and naive doesn't mean most Iranians in or outside Iran are bad. Most Iranian are good. Most Iranians who YOU have met are bad. You seem like you've become better since the past few months. Probably because you stayed away from lying Iranians in Canada. So do your thing and stay away from liars!

It wasn't just immigration.  Haji's a shell-shocked war veteran from a poor orphaned family.  He has MANY wounds and scars....immigration was the hope, and now it's failed him...and so he spins...like a weather vane....but every time we've tried to help him here, no one ever really could.  It's very unfortunate.

In any case, why don't you register?  It only takes five minutes and itt has so many benefits, you might be surprised.  But the BIGGEST one is it protects your cyber-identity!  NO ONE can use your "name" once you've chosen it....

I agree with your comments. Immigration is a life-changing step. If for any reason, it is not taken right, your life will be a hell: constant regret, anxiety and fear. It is a part of growing up and maturity issue.

I always found your art interesting which provides
a fresh look at things we Iranians usually try to hide. However, this is life: a constant struggle. Some people are lucky and things are served to them on a silver platter, for most not. Look at all the artist that made they mark in this world living in absolute poverty and hostility. Don't let hardships break you. Focus on what is near and dear to your heart. Look at Jahanshah Javid who runs this site and hardships that he went through,...

Actually, I think MOST of you are missing the point....

you can't expect Haji to be logical or consistent. He CAN'T...the wound's too deep...he just CAN'T...one day he hates Iran the next day he loves it...he HAS no cohesive ideology...sorry Haj to speak of you this way but.... and in that way he in himself embodies your collective wound all in one person...take all the noise that many of you make and all the tiddly winks you play instead of confronting your pain, your grief, your history SQUARELY and finding a UNION, finding COMMON GROUND....put it in a blender....and make it into a person... and there you have Haji. The scenery is always better in rear view mirror

Western "democracies" leave much to be desired. In recent years (especially after the fake 911) they have even broken their own promises. However Iran is also in "severe" economic situation. Living there for a normal worker is hell.
