Apparently some Shirazis can't handle a joke.

by Anonypishi (not verified) on

Rest of us Isfahanis, Turks, Lurs, Rashtis, Ghazvinis ...., have been hit by jokes for decades and did not bother us that much. Lighten up people it's just a joke.

Now watch me in action:

Joke-e Shirazi

by faribors maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on

being borned in Shiraz I know only one word in shirazi dialect. That is the word: TORSH POLO = ABKESH. A very big subject made of copper and made white with aluminium in a MESSGARI.
This word told me a shirazi HAM-MAHALI many years ago. We both laughed a lot.
This story about absent chief in a governmental office could be also nice. At least it does not and it should not hurt any body. I know for example for sure that true RASHTIs do not mind Rashti jokes.
On the other day there was a Video of a Fon-Talk ( L ra nakhanid!) between two shirazis about a spoild and nasty child: IN BACHE HE SHOMA KHAILI BI ADABE. That Conversation was nice und really funny.
The most funny subjekts in "IRANIAN" are the articles in which Iranian Politicians are adwised how they better perform their job. More offen their work which they have performed allready is critisized without suggesting how they should have done the job better. All these articles are funniest subjects in "IRANIAN". I find it is a pitty that the genious authors are not active in Iran and spend their lives as a asylant seeker in the diaspora. Reading the articles make in fact a lot of pleasure. Greeting

We Kitch , You Sophisticated! Happy?

by 135 (not verified) on

Come on guys, give us a break.

Why Iranians are obsessed with this shoved-up-in-our-arses;
What is the message here?
What have we learned here?

Even a JOKE has to have a message and teach us something!! And with all these learnings and wisdom, we let a 5% minority take over our land and build a Feyzieh on top of it and rule it for us!
Anyway, we are not as sophisticated as you hamvatans are! We like non-political jokes as well.

Could you wise me up by pointing the message in the following link, please? And, whether the audience is amused or not?
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx7XDVjm0Qk

Btw, what's this blogger's job issue? I think, I know her, don't I? The McD story?
Why don't you open a new thread and tell us all about your job. It seems you need to get it out of your system. All humans are attention-seekers, one way or another. So, do it. I mean it.

How low can you (we) go?

by Majid on

With a black trash bag covering your head imitating a woman? imitating a woman's voice? imitating an accent? to prove what? to send what kind of message? KOO NEE ? And that suppose to be funny?

Sometimes this "youtube" thing,  is the largest garbage disposal that there is out there.

Another few minutes of my time just went down the drain!

Party Girl

Dear 135

by Party Girl on

Thank you for your kind comment.  I love all Iranians.  Aside from the obvious common reasons I love them all, there are specific reasons I love people from different parts of Iran.  Believe it or not, what you so eloquently said about the impact Shirazi's had on you during a certain point in your life is shared by most non-Shirazi's who go to stay there for a while.  I have two nieces who attended Shiraz University at different times and came away from Shiraz so affected by the people, culture, and habits of Shirazi's.  When we were young, we used to travel to Shiraz for Nowruz holidays.  There was just as much to see in the backstreets and homes of Shirazi's as there was to see when sightseeing and visiting monuments.  I never forget the generosity of a hostess who everyday at mealtimes would personally go into her beautiful front yard, reach for those juicy Narenjes on the trees, pick some for us and hand each of us our own Narenj to squeeze on our food.  Shiraz and Shirazi's are unforgettable.

Could you expand it, please?

That was a clever Shirazi humor !!

by 135 (not verified) on

Thanks Party Girl. You made my weekend!!

I love shirazi accent, people, everything. Part of Shiraz culture was actually my source of income for a few years. I enjoyed every second I spent there.

It seemed, if I was in the core of Persian magnetic field. Each and every cell in my body was in total sync with its frequency, whether in Zand st. or up in the mountain in a Qashqai tent.

I would like to thank Shiraz and Shirazis for their spiritual and cultural hospitality.
