Kaftar-e Esfahani, Kaftar-e Tehrani

A hand shadow performance by an artist in Iran

The guy is really good, because he does the dialogues and the singing, too.

This is brilliant!

Wow, what a talent.

And about that Tehrani accent... yeah, I'm totally baffled about this new Tehrani accent too. It sounds not just extremely loos but fake. If I hadn't heard all the young female folk in Tehran talking like this I would have thought somebody is putting us on. Back in our days if people talked like this they would have been mocked. What the heck is this nonor-bazi?

I liked his Tehrani accent. It really touches on this "LOOS" and silly dialect that is prevalent among the Tehrani of this generation. My relatives come from Iran and they all talk like googoosh of 1968 but with a strange accent and very bad Persian. What's going on?

I mean how can someone who lives in Iran talk like that girl on Bebin TV? Can you tell me what's hap?
