Koorooki

Convertible cars are called "KOOROOKI" in Persian. What is the origin of that word? "KOOROOK" is the name of the cover over a horse-driven carriage. When convertible cars were imported, they were called "KOOROOKI" because the top cover looked like that of a carriage. The origin of the word...? Sounds Frenchish!
