It is %100 real
by Majid on Fri Mar 07, 2008 12:35 AM PSTAbout 1-1/2 years ago a relative of mine from Ghaaziaan, Close to"Bandar Pahlavi" sent me a "picture" of this store's sign. Not this clip, but a picture.
The store is actually located close to "Laheejaan"
As some comments explained it , It's not how it sounds in Farsi. You should read it in Gilaki, as "Femme Rashti" said .
But any how, Long live his sense of humor, I bet he made tons of people laugh, ME included.
Majid!
by Nader on Thu Mar 06, 2008 10:40 PM PSTDamet garm. I am glad you liked it.
It is real indeed
by The Man Who Killed Liberty Wallance (not verified) on Thu Mar 06, 2008 07:33 PM PSTThis is real, the guy is really Kos Mashang, and I know him. You need to realize that he has used the workd KOOS and not KOS, so buy adding the (wov) betweek "k" and "S" he made it legal.
It's just a PhotShop edit job
by farrad02 on Thu Mar 06, 2008 07:04 PM PSTGuys,
This is just an edited photo/image. He has edited the image and put the kos mashang text over whatever the original name was. Then displayed it on computer monitor and videotaped the monitor as Azadi pointed out as well.
Mi Gilan
by FemmeRashti (not verified) on Thu Mar 06, 2008 05:13 PM PSTAgha JJ, Ti Bala Mi Sar:
1) It's not Kos-Mashang. It's Koos-Mashang, the way Gilaks say it, meaning someone who is not very wise. In Gilak dialect, it is not a profanity per se, and more of a slang.
2) This restaurant couldn't be in Tehran, because its name would be considered a profanity in Tehran. If it's a real restaurant, I believe it must be in Gilan.
3) This picture was circulated a while back. Someone has made a "film" out of the picture on a monitor!
4) Not a very good video of Gilan and Gilanis if you ask me. How about one of these?

by Majid on Thu Mar 06, 2008 05:11 PM PSTI agree with you on this one, This title should be Exclusively patented for that cause.
BTW. I like your avatar.
I thought we were talking about Bush's Biography:)
by Nader on Thu Mar 06, 2008 04:28 PM PSTThe title fits the cause:)
It is fake
by Azadi (not verified) on Thu Mar 06, 2008 02:58 PM PSTYou can see that the video is fake. Just look at the back ground of it which is a Windows Monitor. It looks like the guy edited this picture. But nice try.
