and part of life is pain.  Unless you have felt, lived, touched, drank pain you will never know the "hope" you speak of here.

This particular song I posted was not written by him, it is an old spanish love song. I "hope" you know that . . .if you notice the crowd sings with him, because they have either lived it or "hope" to live it someday.

Anyway, to each his own pain, his own hope and his own life. However, I do think you misunderstand sadness with passion. Passion contains sadness, happiness and much more that these limited little black letters could ever describe - you should not limit life, whatever it may contain. Once you begin to separate sadness from life you have set yourself up for failure down the road, because now sadness will be contrary to your definition of life. And, if you ever feel sadness you will think you need a forensic evalution to explain it to you.  

Life is all, sad other otherwise, just drink it!

Ladan: It is a lovely photo of you and your daughters. I am sure "people" call you charlie's angles, because they mean to compliment you.

We all post our thoughts or pictures here so we can be recognized. Look what I can do! Look what I can do!  But, recognition comes with baggage! I will add mine!

It is interesting that your daughters flank you in the photo. You are still the boss, not one of "girls." You are still wearing your wedding ring(s). While your daughters are modestly clad your outfit is far more hoochemamaesque! You may be a young mother, but I can see we all wish to look younger after a certain age. How nice it is to be told that they are your sisters, nah!

Now, your older daughter is more comfortable with herself and has left the I-want-to-look-like-my-mom sometime ago. She is wearing dark nail polish which is a sign of rebellion - a good-bad girl. She has maintained her natural hair color [or gone back to it], another sign of confidence! She is standing more distant from you without a tight grip like your younger daughter. Of course, her arm is raised to put show distance or show independence! she has lighter lipstick on, but has gone heavy on the dark eye makeup - she knows her assets! A siron's song, perhpas!

Your younger daughter is naturally closer to you. She has highlighted her hair like you - like mother like daughter!

This is very nice! My mother was a young mother and we used to be very close like that and people always would mistake us for sisters. Then, I ended up having two sons and though they are fun, it is not like having daughters. Enjoy your daughters as long as you can. Thanks for sharing.
