Iranian of the Day

My name is Laleh Esmaili, and I'm a pre-medical student living in Oakland, California. I am committed to working in my community, for health and safety, especially for children. I will be working with Habitat for Humanity in April 2009 to build 20 houses in Oakland, in what was an auto salvage yard. The homes are eco-friendly, and will house 54 needy families in a safe neighborhood when they are built. I am collecting donations, which will be used to purchase the building materials, and I need to raise $400 total in order to participate in this program.
