Go To Hell Batche Mullahs and Communists
by Bahar (not verified) on Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:04 PM PSTPlease leave Satrapi alone and proceed to distribute your fliers on the streets of Europe like beggars and hold on to your pathetic religious ideologies so you can justify all your wrongdoings.
Shouldn't you be ashamed of even opening up your filthy mouths after 30 years of ruining our country?
And yes, the creative arts whether the music or movie industry is predominatly filled by wonderful jewish people. If that is a problem to you, then you should get your butts out of a religion that is against all of that and maybe you too can create music, films, screen plays and anything else that involves beauty instead of hatred and prejudice!

Beijing honors Iran's Majidi
Mon, 25 Feb 2008 11:32:12
Iran's Majidi was honored in Beijing
Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchanges Center honors renowned Iranian director, Majid Majidi, for his attempt at the Vision Beijing project.
In a news conference in Beijing yesterday, Majidi received the Diploma of Merit and the special medal of Bird's Nest stadium, the main stadium of the Olympic 2008 in China.
Majidi, who visited China for the first time for 'Colors Fly', focused on children looking forward to the upcoming Olympic games. The Oscar-nominated director in 1998 chose his favorite subject, children again.
"I am most impressed by middle-aged and retired people, who have great passion for life," he said during the conference.
Majidi received the Diploma of Merit in Beijing
Vision Beijing is a film project that showcased five short films by five world-famous film directors, namely Majid Majidi of Iran, Lau from China, Giuseppe Tornatore of Italy, Patrice Leconte of France and Daryl Goodrich of Britain.
* The point is: Mr. Majidi was not paid by Chinese to produce! And: He does not cooperate with strangers against his Homeland. The Honor which he has recieved emphasises only his honoure as a artist and wants to admire him. It is very acknowledable how the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN intensifies the cultural relations to the Nations which do not work politically against the Iran and like friendship and peace as all iranians living in thier country, the ISLMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN. I for example am living in Quom as every Visitore of "IRANIAN" knowes since a comment of mine is answered by a respectable pro Evolution Authore of "IRANIAN". Greeting

"Islamic Government, We don't want, we don't want"
by Iran forever (not verified) on Sun Feb 24, 2008 06:59 PM PST"Watch the people spontaneously shout "Islamic Government, We don't want, we don't want"
//uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8jGhsaJdyQU
Around 200 Aryashahr residents in Tehran reacted angrily, after a girl who was stopped by the Islamic Guidance units for inappropriate Hejab, resisted arrest. The Guidance units started beating up the young girl when she started resisting arrest and their brutality stirred the crowds who came to the girl's rescue.
Islamic Guidance units, faced with angry protests, drove away from the scene in a hurry, forgetting to take one of their colleagues, who was duly set on by the angry protesters. As the crowds got bigger and bigger, they started shouting "Islamic Government, We don't want, we don't want" which can be clearly heard on the youtube clip."
Marjane Satrapi, because of your work, tonight in Oscar, all over the world, millions supported the struggle of true Iranians for aspiration of this great nation of Iran to be a free country from savagery and darkness of Islamists.
We love you, Marjane.
Shame on you Marjan Satrapi
by Vatan Parast (not verified) on Sun Feb 24, 2008 05:50 PM PSTOh yeah, of course, when the Americans make the movie 300 to insult Iranian nation, then Marjan Satrapie, the Qajar girl has to do the same thing. We still remember the Qajar dynasty and their attitude towards Iran and Iranian nation. They were a bunch of traitors like her. She did make this movie just to get famous and get some money from her American and French bosses!!!!!. Our country and its people are everyday under verbal attack by western media and some of Iranian(vatan forosh) like her siding with them and helping the US goverment to manipulate the American people and get them ready for military confrontation with the Iran. I'm fully aware of the bad situation in Iran but it is not the right time weakening our country in any aspect. Shame on you Mrajan Satrapi.

To the Jew haters
by Bored Iranian dude (not verified) on Sun Feb 24, 2008 05:23 AM PST1. If Israel supports such a movie, great! In fact, I hope they fund more projects like this that reveal how the IRI government is completly out of sync both culturally and economically with the people. I hope the Israeli warmonger pigs understand that this regime wont go away with their US sponsored fire works.
2. So when Bush launches "The Patriot Act", launches "Phone wire tapping" and launches Torture because of terrorism, invades other countries because of this "foreign threat" its wrong.
But when the IRI declares indirectly war against Israel by funding Hamas and Hezbollah, has its own 30 year old "Patriot act", has also had "Phone wire tapping" and has hailed torutre since 1979 because of this "foreign threat" its right.
3. So that leaves us with your logic, that since this movie is sponsored by jewish people, its wrong because of a "external threat" since it critises the regime, meaning its right to boycott it. But its Wrong when Bush or the western media does it. Everything they do is wrong, everything we do is perfect.
Please grow up and stop whining, you cant have it both ways, the world does not work like that, if you bitches used one half of your wannabe fake male posture crying, Iran would have had the pieces to do what it wanted to do in the Middle East today being a relative superpower.

by nice (not verified) on Sat Feb 23, 2008 03:38 PM PSTMarjane Satrapi,
was also chosen as "Person of the Week"
" by "ABC World News" last night. In addition she is nominated for the Oscar best-animated movie this Sunday." Marjane Satrapi felt the complex story of her country, Iran, wasn't being told. She was compelled to write a memoir about growing up in Tehran during the Islamic revolution and show others that Iranians are not monsters. They are just people.... "
