I am so glad for this nice news thank you
and the sad thing is that
by nima (not verified) on Sat Mar 29, 2008 05:47 PM PDTand the sad thing is that there was not one gathering to remember this woman, who spent her entire
life dedicated to women's rights in Iran.
Maryam was not just a part of history,
she WAS history.
Future generations would eventually appreciate
all she did and what she endured.

Mr Danesh, or rather Mr Bi hoosh
by Anonymous77 (not verified) on Sat Mar 29, 2008 02:38 PM PDTAre you off your rockers?
She was left-wing, not an advocate of capitalist right-wing market democracy soft-fascism like Thatcher nor a monarchist like Elizabeth II.
She wasn't German!
Geez!
Above all, before any affiliation with any party, she was a HUMANITARIAN, which explains the rest of her stances.

by Mr. Danesh, Author (not verified) on Sat Mar 29, 2008 01:37 PM PDT...for sure she has a beautifu and warm and friendly voice and she looks like somewhere between Queen Elizabeth II and Margaret Thatcher but with tendency to tilt toward the latter considerably...
Simple words ... sure is the way to talk about politics and world politics both extemely complex in order to generate solid "common ground" for the world in vapor...
