Can She Sing? Yes // Is It Pleasant? No!

I think this is perhaps "The MOST Perfect" example that with hard work and dedication and a real passion for the arts, you can really teach a very committed person "TO SING", however, the fact that they learn all the right techniques and can hold their breathe and even hit a note or two, does not make their VOICE PLEASANT TO LISTEN TO !!! There are so many people I have heard sing with incredibly beautiful natural voices, who unfortunately lacked the formal training, but even still, that 'untrained'/raw version of something good is better than a really well-trained version of something pushing average AT MOST.

I just can't help but squirm when I hear her sing...and yes, I have tried to like it...believe it or not! but it is so incredibly stuffy and monotonous, just like when people immitate opera singers! I really don't know how anyone can enjoy it for over 2 minutes!?! Frankly I am not sure what all the hype is all about on this site either, but all I can say is it costs a lot of money to be advertised THIS MUCH !!! especially when you are not even a recorded artist or performer! Unfortunately, too much 'empty' advertising can backfire, so someone needs to remind her that sometimes..."Distance makes the heart grow fonder"...Give it a try and think of a second career too just in case this one does not end in a Grammy or Tony...

Why can't she speak one language?

Why can't we Iranians learn to speak one language at a time instead of mixing English sentences in the middle of Farsi? It is annoying to no end!

this is so terribly sad

what a delightful and sweet person, but she can't sing. It's forced and she misses beginnings and ends of passages. I hope she does well though.

This was your best video so far, perhaps because you did not carry the interview with showing the reporter as well. Also one suggestion, please do not move the camera so quickly between shots. The subjects may be carrying a conversation, but that does not mean that you have to catch every word one says on the camera, relax and let it flow or use to cameras.
