Come back to the mainstream media. She is not a FOX news type she has more class than those low-lives on FOX. Plus every time I see her on FOX she looks as if she was forced to be there and she looks very uncomfortable.

She is a gifted and talented journalist, on top of being very pretty and attractive. She also has a charming presence that makes hearts melt when she is on screen. Unlike other Iranian-American journalists in national media who try stay or shy away from Iranian communities/issues, Ms. Bakhtiar is very proud of heritage and always gets involved in Iranian causes and issues.

Lucky the man who can steal her heart.

She was born to Iranian immigrants of Bakhtiari heritage; her father died of oropharyngeal cancer in 2005 [12][11]. Bakhtiar has a younger brother and younger sister. Shapour Bakhtiar is Rudi Bakhtiar's father's uncle, the last Prime Minister of Iran under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and a great aunt of Bakhtiar's was the Shah of Iran's second wife (Soraya Esfandiary).

All I can say is thank god none of this is on TV! And is it me or have Rudi's front teeth gotten noticeably bigger since she left CNN? Ever since she left CNN, though, I can safely say that I laugh a lot less. Rudi had a unique way of making you able to laugh at every natural disaster, plane crash, or murder. And I miss that.

first of all we all know that politicians are no angels. Therefore, stop complaining about the Pahlavis.

Second, can any of the ones claiming that Rudi doesn't have a degree or Mr Reza Pahlavi got her the job, have any proof? Even so, what is wrong with helping someone getting a job?!!

This lady did not leave CNN but she was fired.
She was also fired from FOX.
She has never attended any college & should not have become a journalist @ the first place.
Even though has got her new job through “Moron” Reza Pahlavi's push, she is not going last long on NPR either. Sorry.
Not every Iranian is “Iranian of the Day.”
