John Carpenter III and freedom of stupidity!

by johnny funny (not verified) on

Go Johnny go!

No one said these folks were doing something illegal or they don't have the right to do it! So don't invoke the constitutional rights yet!!

Comments are saying it is stupid. Ofcourse we all know we have "Freedom of Stupidity" in US as well as every where else.

As a matter of fact I am sure that is the kind of freedom you excercised when you criticzed rest of us!!!! Now go to church it's Sunday!

Second part of your theory begs investigation.
First part seems more contrived.
"Jalale Ale Ahmad" forwarded that idea in one of his books too...

Speechless!

by ZebelTheRebel (not verified) on

I guess I have to hear "Hamlet" in Arabic
before this becomes full circle!!

Myth and nonsense mixed with history.
"why should I save my tears?" and lots of
prophecy into coming events! I think even true believers would be appalled by this nonsense much less like of Islam basher par exellance "Amil"!

Ignorance is deeply rooted among our masses!
Saying that, let me ask the toughtfuls among us:
"How do you get a human being to sacrifice his interests and his life if you don't appeal to their emotions?"

To All those Who Read My Comments

by Kouroush Sassanian (not verified) on

I want to make sure that you fully understand what my background is:

I was devoted to Mammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. Also, I am a Zartoshti, and when I was growing up, I grew up among the Jewish people.

Consequently, I developed strong negative feelings towards Islam.

Please remeber that when you are reading my comments in this blog. Thanks

P.S. I also use multiple names throughout this site. Names such as Ahmad Bahai, Anonymouspb, Anonymous2008, babakoohi, Kos Sher, and most recently, Nader Vanaki, and Kafka.

By the way, there is also no difference between Nader Vanaki, the real Nader Vanaki, or me. We are all the same people.

I'll keep you posted of new ones if I use them.

Take this mo'fo Akhoond and the other goo'saalehs over to Evin Prison to hear the real shrieks of the tortured and the sobbing of their mothers. 22 years have passed since my days at Evin and I still can't get those nightmarish sounds out of my head.

Some things are sacred

by Kiroush Sassanian (not verified) on

Don't mock our religious rituals and customs. People have believed in them for centuries and what is sacred to them should be respected. If this akhoond is saying rozeh in English, it is because there are moslems from other countries in the ceremony who are shias. I see nothing funny and believe that ridiculing our customs is immature.

It does not matter what language

by Concerned Iranian (not verified) on

The RouzehKhooni is a ritual of sorrow in Iran. It feeds off people who are either frightened out of their wits for what they have been accustomed to since their childhood. Or they are simply not very bright. I suspect, more often than not, it is both. It is also quite possible that some (or a lot of) Hezbollahis were sitting in the audience. But remember, it does not take that much to gather up a bunch of Iranians (men or women) who would do this for various reasons. One of the reasons is always SAVAB. They figure they really cannot go wrong. Even if the whole thing may be sham, they can still benefit because God will see this and will save a special place for them in the hereafter.
Now, this Seyed is simply doing his job: feeding off idiots. I wish him propsperity and a long Akhondi life.

Some historical facts

by Anonymous reader (not verified) on

Seventh century:

  • Islam was invented during the Persian wars (early 7th century between Persians and Romans)
  • Romans (and Roman Catholic church) were the earliest supporters of the advent, and spread of Islam as a destructive force against Persians and their allies, a large body of Islamic law is based on the Roman Law, the "Al-Room" chapter in Qur'an prophesizes of the coming victory of Romans over Persians
  • Initially Persians had the upper-hand in the war, Arabs (in particular Qureysh tribe) and Jews both were on the Persian side, and fiercely loyal to Persians
  • during this time Arabs expelled early Moslems from Mecca
  • later Romans got the upper-hand in the war, and managed to advance to Hamadan - very close to the Persian capital - consequently allies of Persians everywhere were weakened
  • cautious Romans stopped their advances, and lend their support to Moslems to finish the job - i.e. to attack, and petrify Persians and their allies - the first victims were Arab people, and their sacred place Ka'ba
    • Sixteenth Century:

    • Shiism was resurrected by Europeans and the Roman Catholic church as a destructive force against Ottomans who were constantly invading Europe
    • the Safavid tribe received the material help from Europe, and were joined by a number of Lebanese Shiite tribes (ten of thousands of individuals - almost all the ruling elite in today Iran are their descendants - to convert Iranians to Shiism, and go on fighting with Sunni Ottomans (similar to the support given to Saudis - the tribe - who were joined by Wahhabis - the religious group - from British India joining them)
    • Shiism incorporated even more aspects of Roman Catholicism into its version of Islam (e.g. Passion Play)
    • Nineteenth Century:

      to be continued ...
