your video
by Keep Discovering (not verified) on Thu Dec 18, 2008 10:56 PM PSTEnjoyed the video, however as an Airline pilot to another Airline pilot I would like to inform you that during take off roll you BOTH need to be at your best and sharpest and one can not be found to do all that and filming your operation to be posted for a show.
I can see someone else that is not operating the flight can film you in action while in cockpit but again your type of commuter plane doesn't needs the extra crew nor has the authorization to have an extra person in the cockpit.
Be Safe, think of the life, dreams, hopes that are seating in the back.

To all my friends who took me wrong !
by mash mandali on Sun Jan 13, 2008 09:20 PM PSTAfter spendenig a wonderful weekend camping and fishing I got back tonight (Sun. eve. ) to read all your comments.
Please go back to my 1st comment and read it again and pay attention to words (facing the nose) !
I'm not a pilot nor a co-pilot rather an AI (Authorized Inspector) and a former "A&P" cert. mech, (still up to date) !
from a mechanic's point of view, looking at the cock pit (((facing the nose))) Captain is in the right sit .
It's just like the question about the rotation of Main rotor blades on rotary wings, it depends on (is the viewer on ground level or higher altitude than the craft) looking at the chopper ?
Makes sense now? If not ,I'll meet you all at 0530 SHARP for morning briefing......LOL
Peace to all
Incorrect info of Mash Mandali
by Mahmoud Ghaffari (not verified) on Sat Jan 12, 2008 11:00 AM PSTSir;
I also worked for Boeing(Connexion by Boeing) and visited the Long beach facility the home of the C17 many times. You of all the people you should have know better what type of aricraft this was and where the captain sits.
respectfully
This is totally cool, I did
by mehran (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 08:45 PM PSTThis is totally cool, I did not know that we have so many Iranian's in love with aviation and know so much about it.
Many happy flights to everyone....
Pilots sit on the left
by S..K (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 08:22 PM PSTMahmoud Ghaffari is right. Pilots sit on the Left seat. Believe me. I am one.
Captain is on the Left
by AV8TR (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 05:57 PM PSTCaptain is in the Left seat in fixed wing and right seat on rotary wing aircrafts.
TO mash mandali
by Old pilot (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 04:33 PM PSTSorry dude, the Capitan is always on the left seat.
Khalaban F-16
by mash mandali on Fri Jan 11, 2008 03:44 PM PSTIs it safe to say that you were a co-pilot and you did not know it ?
Just joking.
My information
by mash mandali on Fri Jan 11, 2008 03:39 PM PSTMy informations Sir, come from 13 years of final assembly of these helicopters,
BH 206 , BH 205, BH 212,214, AH1J, SH-3D and CH43.
Also From assembly line of DC-10 (later MD-11) in San Diego, MD-95 (later Boeing 717 after Boeing take over of Mac Donnell Douglas) in Boeing facility in Long Beach ,CA
I still respect your opinion Sir
peace out
Eei Val
by Khlaban F-16 (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 03:36 PM PSTActually, The Captain is on the Left and the First Officer is one the right side. Sorry.
Incorrect Info
by Mahmoud Ghaffari (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 03:03 PM PSTI dont know where you got the info, but it is a tad bit incorrect. International rules, are pilots are always on the left and copilot on the right. This is not a boeing aricraft it might be an embraer. Boeing does not produce yokes like that. Only embraer (Brazilian) and Antonov (Russians) make yokes like that.
Mehran
by mash mandali on Fri Jan 11, 2008 02:30 PM PSTUnlike the cars, in aircrafts being fixed wings (air planes ) or rotary wings ( helicopters ) pilots are at the right seats (facing the nose).
He is flying a Boeing 737-700 series.
I thought the Captain sits
by mehran (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 01:57 PM PSTI thought the Captain sits on the left and not on the right. In any case, I love to know what kind of plane he is flying.
nice job
by pilot (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 01:33 PM PSTthat was good job landing on 22R,but please do,nt do again ,its against the rigs to take video below 10000ft in the cockpit.you and your captain ticket be in jeopardy.
Nice!
by Anon (not verified) on Fri Jan 11, 2008 11:47 AM PSTPilots are so sexy!
